July 24-25, 2010: We attended an ASCA show in Albuquerque, NM. On Saturday AM, Toby Keith went Best Veteran and A-BOS and Jackson went BOS. Saturday PM, Toby Keith went Best Veteran and A-BOB and Jackson went BOB. Sunday AM, Toby Keith went Best Veteran and A-BOB, Trace went WD for two points and Jackson went BOS. Sunday PM, Toby Keith went Best Veteran and A-BOB, Trace went WD for another two points and Jackson went BOB. What a great weekend! July 17, 2010: We attended one day of a local ASCA Rally Trial. Jackson qualified in both of his runs to finish his Rally Advanced title. On to Excellent for Nationals!!! July 10-11, 2010: We attended an AKC show in Dallas, TX. Trace qualified Saturday and Sunday in Novice B Obedience to finish his CD!! Now on to open for the crazy redhead! June 26-27, 2010: We attended an ASCA Conformation and Rally Show in Hutto, TX. Toby Keith was undefeated over the weekend and picked up 4 A-BOB wins. He also earned 3 RN legs to finish his ASCA RN and picked up his first RA leg. Tucker qualfied in the first three trials and earned his RN. Trace earned 3 legs and finished his RN and was 4th place in a huge class on Saturday. He also got his first RA leg with a 195 and a 3rd place on Sunday. He also went Winners Dog/Best of Winners on Sunday under AKC judge Joe Young. Jackson competed in the rally trial and earned his RN with a 1st place in the Saturday AM trial. He also went High In Trial and High Scoring Aussie. Sunday he earned his first RA leg with a 2nd place and 199 and High Scoring Aussie again. What a great weekend for our boys! June 12-13, 2010: We attended an ASCA Conformation and Agility Show in College Station, TX. Toby Keith started out the new merit year right and went Best Veteran and Altered Best of Breed at all four shows for about 75 breed points!! He also picked up a GV-E leg and 1.5 RV-E legs. Trace picked up an RS-O leg and now only needs .5 more for his title. Kate Phillips-Ellis allowed me to show Ivy (Jackson's littermate) on Saturday for her ASCA Specials debut and she picked up a Best of Opposite Sex. What a great weekend!! May 28-30, 2010: We attended the Colorado Classic in Kiowa, CO which consisted of conformation, obedience, stock and agility. Toby Keith came home with two JV-E, two GV-E and one RV-E legs towards his ATCH. He also picked up five A-BOB's and two Best Veterans. He won the High Point Altered Dog award on Saturday, tied for Overall High Point Veteran and also won the ASCA Best In Show competition on Sunday. This was a competition where all of the Intact, Altered, Veteran, and Puppy Best of Breed winners from the AM and PM shows competed together under a new judge for BIS. It was a great honor to be in the ring with some beautiful dogs. Trace had a busy weekend. He picked up two GS-O legs to finish his title and also earned 1.5 RS-O legs and one JS-E leg. He qualified both runs on Saturday to finish his STDs and earned an extra CD leg with a 3rd place. He also came in second place in the MVA competition (lost by 1 point!!!). Tony (Lark x Jackson) earned a Best of Breed win, a Best of Opposite win and two premier awards. He also won the Overall Highpoint Conformation Dog with a stockdog title. Wow, what a busy weekend!!  In other parts of the country, Jackson stayed home and went with our friend Nancy Lane to a USDAA trial in Dallas, TX. He came home with five Q's and several first places. Thanks Nancy!! April 30-May 2, 2010: We attended an ASCA conformation show and stockdog trial in Whitesboro, TX. Tony (Lark x Jackson) finished his STDs and also picked up a BOS win on Friday night. Toby Keith picked up two A-BOB wins. Trace earned one leg towards his STDs with a 3rd place and also went RWD to a 4 point major on Sunday. What a great weekend!! April 4, 2010: We attended one day of the AKC Agility Trial in McKinney, TX. Trace was a rockstar and came home with an NA leg (1st place) and an NAJ leg (2nd Place). Tucker qualified in Novice Jumpers with a 1st place to finish his NAJ. Toby Keith and Dorinda qualified in Novice Jumpers to finish his NJP with a 2nd place and Jackson also finished his NJP with a 1st place. What a great way to end the weekend! March 19-20, 2010: We attended two days of the ASCA Conformation show in Whitesboro, TX. Toby Keith picked up two A-BOB wins and Jackson picked up a BOB win also. January 9, 2010: We attended one day of the AKC show in Glen Rose, TX. Dorinda and Tucker qualified in Novice B Obedience to finish their AKC CD!!! |
